Actively involved in every phase of design, she excelled at guiding projects from initial concept through construction with a collaborative and detail-oriented approach. Barbara’s ability to work seamlessly with governing boards, city agencies, consultants, and contractors was instrumental in delivering well-planned, functional, and thoughtfully designed facilities. In addition to her architecture accomplishments, Barbara was an avid cyclist and an active member of the Sierra Foothills Cycling Club. She touched many people on her journey and lived life to the fullest.
