Lake Tahoe Community College Student Housing

The new Lake Tahoe Community College Student Housing complex provides accommodations for up to 100 students across 33 units. Developed in response to a comprehensive Student Housing Demand Analysis, the project reflects a strong student interest in on-campus living and a desire for affordable, minimalistic housing options.

Situated along the edge of campus, the residence overlooks scenic open space with direct access to hiking and cross-country ski trails. The architectural design embraces a contemporary Tahoe aesthetic, incorporating stone and fire-resistant materials that echo the look and warmth of traditional wood siding.

The facility features primarily two-bedroom, one-bath units, with a small percentage of single-occupancy options. In addition to the residential units, the building offers common areas, flexible spaces for study and student activities, laundry facilities, kitchen, associated parking, administration, and reception — all designed to create a safe, comfortable, and community-oriented living environment.
