Gavilan College - Library & Student Resource Center

The new library will replace the aging library and incorporate student service functions and additional administrative offices into one location. The LSRC is a gateway building that defines Gavilan College’s campus image that is welcoming and inclusive and will house essential services and library resource needs. The design of the new building includes access to natural daylight and connections to the outdoor environment to help promote the well-being of the students, staff, and faculty. To promote the College’s commitment to positive stewardship of the environment, sustainable strategies are utilized which create an attractive aesthetic and align with Gavilan College’s maintenance and operations requirements. The guiding principals of the LSRC are: Inclusion, Collaboration, Supportive, and Aspirational.
