Clear Creek - Lot 24
Conceived as a modern version of a mountain ranch house, this home is laid out to capture the filtered view of the Carson Valley and mountains beyond, as well as fit within the natural drainage of the site.
The home is broken into three main volumes. The central volume contains the main living/dining/kitchen space. On either side of this are the volume of the bedrooms and the volume of the media room. Each of these elements are oriented to the sun and views and pulled away from each other to create outdoor living spaces. In this way a continuous experience of moving fluidly between interior and exterior is created.
